Quitting Meth?

For whatever reason, you have stopped using crystal meth. Be it legal problems, your connection running out, or even due to your own choosing (good for you!), the time has come for you to stop the insanity. If you are on the computer and reading this article instead of piled up in the bed withdrawing, know this: there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and you have almost reached it.

My recommendation is to busy yourself with something. Keeping a busy schedule will occupy your time and leave no room to miss the high. But most importantly? Cut ties with anyone and everyone who actively uses or sells meth. Get into a good recovery program, group meetings, some type of support. Get a sponsor. Do not go this alone.

Some people go to a doctor for anti-depressant medication. If the depression from withdrawals is something which may make you obtain meth again, go to the doctor. Your serotonin level may be way down. This is common when coming off meth.

Eventually, yes, you stop craving it. Your body rebuilds and a balance is achieved.

The most important thing to remember when trying to kick? God. Find Him. Talk to Him. Depend on Him.
